Armin Ray Mueller, a man of unwavering strength and infectious kindness, passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on July 3, 1938, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to his loving parents, he lived a life full of compassion and achievement.
Ray's journey through life was marked with an exceptional dedication to the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. He married Sandra Jean Warner in November 1966 and had 5 children together. He was remarried to Joyce Iverson in November 2023, after the passing of his wife, Sandra. His love for gardening was evident in the hard work he put into his yard. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, commitment, and integrity. He utilized his talents and skills to make a significant impact in his all career paths that he took, leaving an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of working with him.
Ray was a man of many accomplishments, but it was his character that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was known for his kindness and a sense of humor that could light up any room. His resilience in the face of adversity and his unwavering positivity were sources of inspiration for many.
Ray was preceded in death by his father Armin, mother Vadys, younger sisters Terri and Leisa, his wife of 54 years; Sandra and his grandson Corey. He is survived by his siblings; Peggy Smith,Nola and Albert(Taylor), his children; Carmin and Bryan(Campbell), Rebecca and Michael(Crum), Laura, Justin and CharLee(Mueller), Emily and Thomas(Salazar), his second wife Joyce and his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. His life was a testament to his belief in the importance of family, friendship, and community.

Please join us at City View Mortuary, 1001 E. 11th Ave Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday, Novemeber 7th, 2025. Visitation to be held from 12:00-12:45 p.m., Services will start at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at City View Cememtery and Mausoleum.
