06 Aug Bryan Potts
Our beloved 23-year-old son, Bryan Alexander Potts, passed away on the third of August 2021. Bryan was born in Salt Lake, a beautiful, bouncing baby boy who filled our lives with love and joy. Bryan excelled in many areas: he was an Eagle Scout, he took state in debate as a freshman at West High School, and he competed in soccer at a high level. Bryan was funny, bright and engaging. He was very patriotic and loved woodworking, country music and cooking. Bryan loved the outdoors and mountains in particular. He was proud of his Romanian heritage and enjoyed visiting the Transylvanian mountains. He hiked the 15 mile width of the Wind River Range in Wyoming. He became an accomplished fly fisherman, prowling and floating the streams and rivers of Montana, Idaho and Utah. Bryan was protective of those he loved, those who are disadvantaged, and animals. He adored all of his pets growing up and most recently Lissy, Lola, Arnie and Smoky. Bryan suffered a fractured spine in a car accident near his 17th birthday, that would impact his health and alter the course of his life. We cherish the 23 years we had with Bryan. His passing leaves a gaping hole in our lives and our hearts that will never heal. We love you Bryan – Mom, Dad and Nikki.
