Carma Anderson, 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 24, 2020 at her home. Carma was born to Joseph and Loma Cook of Syracuse, Utah in the car en route to the hospital in Ogden.  She attended Davis High School and following graduation, and attending a year at BYU, Carma earned her Pilot’s license and flew Cessna airplanes.  She attended the University of Utah and decided to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She met her future husband, Glenn W. Carma has loved music her entire life, and learned to play the piano and conduct choirs.  She sang in many productions from a young age, and encouraged her children to learn a musical instrument. Carma was known for her high energy and passion for learning and obtained her Master of Science degree (MS) with honors, after her children were raised. Carma enjoyed office work, and for many years during her 70’s was employed at City University in Washington, and maintained a circle of friends from that position.

Mother Dear, you are gone but not forgotten!! You lived your life well, served the Lord well, served your family well, served many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints well, and served all of your friends and associates well. You deserve peace and rest. Your old age brought so many physical infirmities and watching you suffer was painful for all. I know you are in a much better place, a special place where you can continue your eternal progression. We still miss you though! Happy TRAILS Mom, hope you remember all of us here still on earth!
