Connie Barber Kirby was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 10, 1945, to Bob and Darlene Asher Barber. She died at home on November 10, 2020, due to complications of metastatic bladder cancer. Attended West High School. Married Eugene Overby; later divorced. Married Dan Kirby on September 18, 1999. Connie loved watching and participating in her children's and grandchildren's sports activities. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathryn Parry (Wayne Custer). Connie is survived by her loving husband, Dan, and her four wonderful children, Terry Overby, Scott (Julie) Overby, Tracy Overby, Cindy Dowd and her sisters, Judy (Gary) Hansen and Nancy Wolfe. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much. The family is grateful to her hospice nurse, Kiley, for her compassionate care. Due to Covid-19 safety concerns, private family services were held on November 18, 2020, at City View Mortuary.
