Obituary

Constance Ann Jackson Stewart "Connie" Constance Ann Jackson Stewart passed from this life January 15, 2017 and was reunited with her Mother, Father, and beloved Brother John Jackson. Born in Maud, OK January 5, 1936 to George C. Jackson and Dorothy Harpster Jackson. Married to Wayne S. Stewart January 8, 1954 in Caldwell, Idaho. Mother to 7 children, 17 Grandchildren, and 10 greatgrandchildren. Connie lived in several states as a child finally settling with her family in Powell, WY where she met Wayne and became engaged in 1951. After living in Sidney, MT, Caldwell, ID and Provo, UT, they settled in SLC. Connie worked at several restaurants, at Auerbach Department Store, and as a nurse's aide at Holy Cross Hospital. Connie was the first female EEG technician in the country to earn the title of head of her department which she so lovingly did for 35 years at Primary Children's Hospital. Connie was known for her dependability and unconditional love for others. Connie sang in her Presbyterian church choir and served whenever she was asked. She volunteered at Magna and Bonneville elementary schools. One of the highlights of her life was volunteering at the 2002 SLC Winter Olympic Games where she worked with the athletes at the Olympic Village. She traveled all over the US and had a charm from every trip she took. Her love for her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and "adopted" children had no boundaries or exceptions. She had the largest heart and hands that extended to everyone she met without a doubt she brought joy and happiness to everyone she knew. She will be very missed. She is survived by her husband, Wayne S. Stewart, SLC, UT her children, Garry W. Stewart, Bountiful, UT, Denis L. Stewart (Nancy), Park City, UT, Deborah S. Dubek, SLC, UT, Laurel A. Vasquez (David), Midvale, UT, Donna L. Hone (Dallas), SLC ,UT, Kelly C. Thomas (Terry), SLC ,UT, Teri R. Springer (Glenn), Lehi, UT, Sister, Ladonna Zall (Ralston, WY) and her best friend and sister-in-law, Lorita Vail (Boise, ID). In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Primary Children's Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 20, 2017 at City View Mortuary, 1001 East 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City, with a visitation to be held one hour prior at 11:00 am.
