Elissa "Lisa" Claire Herron passed away Tuesday, September 20 ^th , surrounded by loved ones.  She was preceeded in death by her father, Glen Lamont Thomas, and her grandmother, Minnie Baker.  She is survived by her mother, Wilma Thomas, Craig and Benjamin Thomas (brothers), and Jennifer Puhl (sister).

Lisa married Roger Herron and later divorced.  In middle age she went back to school and earned a degree to become a Registered Nurse.  She helped all her siblings through many difficulties in life.  She was quite sociable and had many friends surrounding her.

Unfortunately, her nursing career was sidelined when she was stricken with the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.

She succumbed to the demon of addiction.

A graveside service will held on Saturday (09/24/2022) at Lakehills Cemetery at 12:00pm.
