Frank Scott, age 86, died on April 1, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born August 2, 1931 in Norfolk, Virginia to Clarence Franklin Scott, Sr. and Elizabeth Marie Henderson. He married Betty Powell on March 8, 1961. Frank served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After the Navy, Frank worked as an electronics engineer for a variety of contractors to the US military, including NASA. Frank enjoyed playing golf and watching John Wayne movies. Frank was a graduate of Florida State. He is survived by his wife Betty, daughters Tammy and Susie, son Matt, grandson Chase, granddaughter Kaela, and great-grandchildren Kaden, and Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, and his beloved son Mark Scott. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at City View Mortuary, 1001 East 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah with interment to follow at the same location.
