Survived by mother, partner Gabriel Delgado of 21 years; sons Branddon and Orlando  R. Arroyo; grandchildren Sophia, Isabella, and Ryleigh Arroyo; siblings Richard Arroyo, Reinnaldo Alvarado, Luis Santiago, and Rosa Santiago; and several nieces and nephews.

Attended Wilby High School in Waterbury, CT.

Anyone that knew Gilberto knows how much he loved his family. He was a devoted partner, brother, father, and grandfather. His three granddaughters were his world. Since retiring, Gilberto loved traveling the world and had traveled to 25 countries, with more planned. A great passion of his at home was gardening, with tomatoes and roses being specialties in his garden. He will be greatly missed.
