Joseph Lee Montoya (Gino Montoya) age 50 met his heavenly father November 24, 2022. He was born June 9, 1972 to Eugene Montoya and Josephine Espinoza Verela.  Gino was a loving son, father, grandfather, big brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.  He will be deeply missed by many and life will not be the same without him. He was the life of the party and made his entrance everywhere he went. Gino had the funniest jokes and a great sense of humor. He was our helper and angel who always showed up whenever we needed him the most. His passions were personal training, pop locking, old school cars and taking long rides while listening to his favorite music. His favorite foods were his mom's cooking, a good hamburger and cheesecake. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and we will miss him deeper than our words can express. We love you Gino! Preceded in death by his father Eugene Montoya and brother Rocky Montoya as well as many uncles, aunt and cousins. He is survived by his Mother Josephine Espinoza Verela, Step-mother Sharlet Sanchez, his daughters Valecia Montoya and Mariah Echeveria (Taylor Rechis) and Grandson Tatum, Girlfriend Tao Amber Ward, Sisters Angela Montoya, Christina Villarreal, Gina Montoya, Amber Montoya, Alexuss Ousley and stepbrother Francisco Sanchez. Nephews and Neice's Igthazio Duran, Anival Montoya, Aleeka Montoya, Mosha Montoya, Americus Montoya, Tuaquarius Montoya, Shysha Montoya, Laylah Lawler, Anaya Ousley his great nephew and nieces and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His services will be held at City View Mortuary 1001 E 11th Ave in Salt Lake City, UT 84103.  The vigil will begin at 10:00 AM and the services will start at 11:00 AM on December, 8, 2022.  The burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetary 275 U St. in Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
