Obituary

~~~~~~~~~~
Larry Gene Reynolds passed away peacefully on November 23, 2021, at his home in Midvale, Utah, from natural causes. He was surrounded by his daughter Anne-Lise Vasquez and son-in-law Isaac Vasquez.
Larry was born on January 29, 1949, in Neodesha, Kansas, and later moved with his family to Kaysville, Utah. He graduated from Davis High School in 1967. Soon afterward, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1975. Upon returning home from the war, Larry started a career as a long-haul truck driver for various companies in the Salt Lake Valley.
Larry was a very health-conscious person and was passionate about weightlifting and body-building. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle whenever he had a chance. On weekends, he could often be found at The Westerner Club in Salt Lake City. He liked meeting new people and was a very good swing dancer. Larry bore an uncanny resemblance to actor Chuck Norris – so much so that people often refused to believe that he wasn't Chuck Norris despite Larry's protestations to the contrary. Because of this, he often obliged the requests and signed numerous items. Later in life, Larry was born again through his faith in Jesus Christ and maintained a deeply personal relationship with his Lord and Savior.
Larry is survived by his son Casey Reynolds, son Justin Reynolds, daughter Anne-Lise Vasquez (Isaac), sister Gayle Reynolds, brother Dale Reynolds, sister Linda Reynolds, two granddaughters, one grandson, several nieces and nephews, and his chosen brother Ray Neeley. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Joseph Reynolds and Leda Jean Miller. The family would like to thank Envision Healthcare & Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.
