Paul Arthur McNicol

Gone Truckin’

Paul passed away at home on December 10th surrounded by loved ones and his fur babies after a month long fight with Covid. He was born in Tooele, Utah on September 6, 1951. He attended Tooele High School and then served two years in the Army. He was stationed in Germany and he always hoped to go back and visit. He was married to the love of his life, Tammy McNicol, for 33 years. He recently retired after owning and operating P & T painting for 30 years. Prior to that he drove semi truck. He loved to drive and hoped to continue to drive semis once he was healthy again. He spent many nights camping in the great outdoors and enjoyed traveling with his trailer with family and friends.

Paul is survived by his wife, Tammy, and four children: Jodi Chapman (Tommy), Shane McNicol, Misty Rodgers (Aaron) and Kristy Johnson (Doug). He leaves behind 9 grandchildren (Shawn, Ryan, Ashley, Mashae, Sierra, Hallie, Nadya, Alex and Carter) and a bouquet of great grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Rex McNicol (Bonnie), Lee McNicol, Sherman Gamble (Sherry), and a sister, Jeri Taylor (Ed). He was preceeded in death by his parents, Blaine and Lucille McNicol, and his brother, Charlie McNicol. Due to covid, there will be no services at this time. We have plans to hold a celebration of life on his birthday if it is safe.
