Elissa “Lisa” Claire Herron passed away Tuesday, September 20th, surrounded by loved ones. She was preceeded in death by her father, Glen Lamont Thomas, and her grandmother, Minnie Baker. She is survived by her mother, Wilma Thomas, Craig and Benjamin Thomas (brothers), and Jennifer Puhl (sister).
Lisa married Roger Herron and later divorced. In middle age she went back to school and earned a degree to become a Registered Nurse. She helped all her siblings through many difficulties in life. She was quite sociable and had many friends surrounding her.
Unfortunately, her nursing career was sidelined when she was stricken with the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.
She succumbed to the demon of addiction.
A graveside service will held on Saturday (09/24/2022) at Lakehills Cemetery at 12:00pm.

Posted at 21:13h, 23 SeptemberBen and family, I’m so sorry to hear of Lisa’s passing. She was a sister to me as I loved her more than she probably ever knew. I’m glad she is finally at peace and is in a far better place. She is purfect and whole again. Fly high with the angels Lisa til we meet again. She is back with her father whom she missed so much. May you all find peace in knowing they are together again and will see her again when our time on earth is done..if you need anything please let me know.
